Annual Festival

Minchinhampton Folk Club Festival 2025

Tuesday 16th Sep to Sat 20th September

All events will be held at The Minchinhampton Cotswold Club

The festival will start on Tuesday 16th Sep with an open mic singer/songwriter event.  Music will start around 8.00 and we would encourage performers to either sing their own songs or songs written by other local perfomers. (With their permission!)

On Thursday 18th Sep it’s club night and we are honoured to welcome Johnny Coppin as our very special guest that evening.  Music from 7.45 as usual.

On Friday 19th Sep  Jules and Amy will host a folk session running from 6.30 for those of you who enjoy playing along with folk tunes and songs.

The main event is on Saturday 20th September with music from club regulars starting at 1.00pm, running throughout the day until around 9.00 when we will welcome our headline act, A. D. Scruffs to the stage.

A.D. Scruffs is a Roots Revival Quartet hailing from Bristol, with a foot-stomping collection of ear-worm-infested originals and a storming stage presence sure to captivate any audience! From the frailing banjos, to chiming mandos, you’ll find yourself lost in the soundscape sketched out as you watch the band in their natural element; lost in the music.

Fresh from the release of their debut album, and with nearly two years of captivating live performances under their belt, supporting renowned acts, both national and international, the group is going from strength to strength, with a loyal fanbase growing along with them.

Can’t wait!

The Cotswold Club is a fabulous venue so we will have easy access to drinks and snacks and we have Vic Curtis booked for sound all day on Saturday, so it’s shaping up to be a fantastic week of music.

Put the dates in your diary and watch this space for more info and a Saturday performers list.
